We are extremely proud of our gorgeous jewelry collection and stand behind our products. If you are ever displeased in any way with your purchase, do not hesitate to contact us immediately and we will rectify the problem. Below are some answers to frequently asked questions:

WHAT IS STERLING SILVER?

Sterling Silver is composed of 92.5% (925 parts per thousand) silver and 7.5% copper alloy. The copper increases the silvers hardness. Produced in mines (mainly Peru and Mexico), sterling silver had become a popular affordable alternative to white gold or platinum. It can be polished into a higher sheen than any other white metals.

WHAT IS A CUBIC ZIRCONIA (CZ) STONE?

Cubic Zirconia is the finest subsitute for diamonds. It can come in various colors and with the proper cleaning, it will retain its beauty for years. It is a synthetic gemstone that is chemically comprised of a cubic form of zirconium oxide and yttrium oxide. Cubic Zirconia's are cut in the same way diamonds are cut. Depending on the style, our CZ's are both machine cut and hand cut. CZ's are so solid that  they outweigh a diamond of the same millimeter diameter by 1.7 times more.

WHAT IS RHODIUM?

Rhodium, which is a member of the platinum family is a metal that is durable and hard. It is considered a precious metal that is 3 times more expensive than gold. It has a whitish and silver appearance and when plated on other metals, it produces a bright, shiny and long lasting silver-colored finish. This coating helps protect the silver from tarnishing, scratching and corrosion.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY STERLING SILVER JEWELRY?

To prevent jewelry from damage, store your sterling silver jewelry in a cool, dry place individually in pouches or plastic bags to protect them from enviromental harm. Do not rub jewelry with coarse fabric, as it may scratch the jewelry surface. Do not expose to direct sunlight for long periods of time, it may fade the color of the stone. Try to avoid direct contact with perfumes and lotions because it may leave a residue on the jewelry. To clean, wipe your jewelry with a damp cloth of warm water-detergent solution, then rinse well with clean water and let air dry. Last, polish with a lint-free soft cloth. If your jewelry becomes tarnished, use a polish solution or a polishing cloth to clean the piece. Another cheap, at-home alternative is to place your sterling silver jewelry in a disposable aluminum pan. Add your jewelry and cover them with baking soda. Boil some water and pour over the jewelry. Use a wooden spoon to make sure all sides of the jewelry comes in contact with the aluminum. Carefully remove, rinse and allow to dry on a paper towel.
